My name is Hazer Novich aka Hazer Live.
I make commercials people want to watch and strive to create images that cut through the noise of today's online world.
I have developed the skills to do this through years of creating photo and video content for social media marketing efforts. My work has garnished millions of views and I have served as a social media content supplier and consultant for some of the largest corporations in Montana. Due in part to my dyslexia, I have a unique way of seeing things, and as a result I have a talent for sharing stories visually. I don't consider this "learning disability" a weakness, in fact, I have been lucky enough to turn it into one of my greatest strengths.
Very few things about me as an artist or a photographer could be considered traditional. I have a background in and a passion for business marketing. I've worked and traveled across the country with professional extreme athletes. I've spent years personally funding a project to serve my community and promote economic development. I spend my days off with the love of my life traveling and exploring my state. She's not only a killer model but a bacterial immunologist at one of the highest security labs in the country. Pursuing this path wasn't easy, but it has allowed me to work with nationwide clients of all shapes and sizes. I've worked with mom and pop shops to help promote their launches, followed a 13-time medalist on his journey to Winter X Games, photographed and made videos for state tourism boards, and I've built custom social media content marketing plans for publicly-traded companies. All while executing on a self-funded project that was a finalist for the best tourism campaign in Montana in 2018.
I've had some wild adventures, but none have been as personal as Rethink Butte.
Rethink Butte is a grassroots tourism project for Butte, Montana, a historic mining town with a rough reputation that is very out dated. Many people didn't see Butte as the beautiful place I do, and I've worked hard for years to change that. It has given me purpose to keep going when times were rough, a place to explore my concepts and ideas, and it has allowed me to develop a style and way of storytelling that packs a punch.
Some may say it's silly to invest so much into a project that will likely never get funding but it's made a difference and that's why we keep at it. A lot of my profit from freelance work or selling photo prints here goes right back into Rethink Butte. Thankfully my little brother Austin McGrann helps quite a bit these days with logistics or I wouldn't be able to keep up.
Photo and Video isn't just about running all over the country and shooting. In a world of Instagram influencers and digital nomads one big thing sets me apart. I'm dedicated to being professional, reliable, and insured. Working for top end clients requires more than just a big fan base; I have to be insured to some of the highest standards, and act accordingly. I carry: two million in general liability, one million in professional liability, and five hundred thousand in commercial auto coverage.
I don't just do photo sessions or make commercials. I help my clients create works of art to market their businesses in unique ways. When you hire me, you don't just get a camera man. You get a marketing consultant and content creator to provide the best results possible.
I'm selective about who I work with, not only to know that it's a good fit for me, but so I know it will be a good fit for the client as well.
If you're looking for weddings, or family portraits I'm not your guy.
If you have an epic project, are looking to make the transition from traditional to digital and social marketing, or if you are looking to capture landscapes and experiences that will have people drooling shoot me an email, and lets work together.
